The Somerset County Local Addictions Authority (LAA) is a division within the Somerset County Health Department serving as an integrated oversight entity for behavioral health services in Somerset County. The LAA plans for, oversees, manages, and implements substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorder programming and support services within Somerset County. The LAA works with private treatment providers to ensure creation of a full continuum of care that addresses the needs of Somerset County residents including outpatient, adolescent and detention-based treatment programs.
