schd announces end of wet season perc testing
The Somerset County Health Department (SCHD) has ended wet season perc testing for this year. Perc tests or Land evaluations determine if the property is suitable for on-site sewage disposal. Wet season is determined by checking the groundwater levels within a network of monitoring wells in the county. These levels have dropped below what is allowed for wet season.
