The Somerset County Health Department (SCHD) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting community-based organizations interested in leading the Somerset Rains Purple awareness campaign under the guidance of the Somerset County Opioid United Team – Overdose Prevention Team (SCOUT-OPT) within Somerset County.
A virtual pre-proposal conference will be held July 17, 2026 at 11:00am. Click here to register.
- One to two awards will be granted, with total funding amounting to $10,000.
- Proposals must be submitted to Kimberly Mason, Somerset County Health Department via Smartsheet link.
- All proposals must be received by 4pm EST on July 24, 2026. Late proposals will not be accepted.
Funds will be awarded to responsible parties deemed to have the most advantageous and beneficial offers as set forth in the proposal. The awards will be contingent upon approval of the Grant Review Committee. Awards will be announced on or about July 31, 2026.
Alzheimer’s Program Advertising Campaign

The Somerset County Health Department (SCHD) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for advertising agencies to promote and recruit responses for the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) Community Needs assessment from residents within Somerset County.
- One award in the amount of $8,500.00 is available for the advertising campaign.
- Proposals must be submitted to Kimberly Mason, Somerset County Health Department via Smartsheet link.
- All proposals must be received by 4pm EST on July 27, 2026. Late proposals will not be accepted.
