(Deal Island, MD) – As of September 2022, a total of 15 Somerset County residents have experienced a non-fatal opioid overdose, and 3 people have died from an opioid overdose. The Somerset County Health Department is hosting a free resource event for those affected by addiction on November 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Deal Island/Chance Volunteer Fire Company (10090 Deal Island Road, Deal Island, MD).
