Westover, Md. –Flu vaccination clinics for children will be happening throughout the county throughout the fall. Any school age child regardless of what school they attend are welcome at any of the four upcoming clinics sponsored by the Somerset County Health Department.
October 14 4:30-6:00 pm Woodson Elementary School
October 21 4:30-6:00 pm Greenwood Elementary School
October 28 4:30-6:00 pm Deal Island Elementary School
November 4 3:30-5:00 pm Somerset Intermediate School
The clinics will be drive by events and by appointment. Masks are required. Parents will need to register for an appointment at https://www.marylandvax.org/ The vaccine will be administered by a shot and not a mist. There is no cost for this vaccination.
It is recommended that all school age children receive the flu vaccination annually.
