Westover, Md. – It is that time of year again to protect yourself from the flu. The Somerset County Health Department will be holding adult flu vaccination clinics at 8928 Sign Post Road in Westover every Tuesday in October on the following dates and times:
Oct. 13 9a – 12p
Oct. 20 1p – 4p
Oct. 27 9a – 12p
Vaccinations will be given by appointment and at no cost. Register for a day and time at marylandvax.org.
“This year with Covid-19 it is more important than ever to get the flu shot.” says Lori Brewster, Health Officer for Somerset County. “Both the seasonal flu and Covid affect the respiratory system and having one can make you more susceptible to the other”.
